Beta and pilot, with no payment required

Meddox is a closed beta. An account and a record are created without completing a payment. No particular availability, response time, or continuation of the beta is promised. Features can change or be removed.

The source code contains a plan figure of 20 euro per month and 300 AI requests per month, unless environment variables say otherwise. That figure is not a price offer under these terms. A payment is taken only if Stripe is configured and you complete Stripe checkout. The Stripe price is not set in this text. Until then the beta can be used without a payment. Rate limits and the monthly quota can still refuse AI calls.

Decision support

Meddox is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or monitor disease. All AI output is decision support and may be wrong. Always check with your physician and primary sources. In an emergency, call 112 (EU) or your local emergency number.

Your responsibility

You upload only material you are allowed to upload. You review every output with a physician and against the sources. You do not rely on Meddox for an emergency decision. You are responsible for what you enter.

Liability

Liability for intent and gross negligence is not excluded. Liability for injury to life, body, or health is not excluded. The same applies to legal representatives and agents where the law so requires.

Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded, except for breach of an essential contractual duty. For an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. These sentences apply only as far as German law allows them. Mandatory consumer law remains in force.

Law and venue

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory rules of the country where a consumer habitually resides remain in force. Where a venue may be agreed, it is the provider’s seat in the legal notice. If no address is set there, no place is named as the venue.

Ending and deletion

You can stop using the service at any time. Account & data erases the stored record, with the limits in the privacy policy. We can restrict or end access to the beta, including when a limit is reached or the operation stops. While the service is reachable, erasure in the application remains available. If it is not reachable, you can ask for erasure at the email in the legal notice once that email is set. The function does not delete the Firebase account itself.
